Luka Margaretic
Luka Margaretic is one of our founding partners. He is also Counsel and the leader of our Corporate and Commercial Law Team.
Luka graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1991 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in Western Australia in 1992.
Luka has extensive experience in international trade law and commerce; he has advised on matters in the United Kingdom, Croatia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam.
Luka was a Barrister and member of the Western Australian Independent Bar for 14 years appearing as trial counsel in superior courts across Australia. He has appeared as Counsel at Royal Commissions in Western Australia and in the High Court.
Luka is well respected and recognised throughout the legal profession for his judgement and sound practical strategic advice. He has extensive knowledge of the law and is able to communicate effectively about complex legal processes and rules so they are able to be readily understood by his clients.
